It all started two years ago simply enough. Jeffrey Palermo wanted to host a geek dinner on the evening before Tech Ed 2005. He posted a notice on his blog, expecting maybe one or two dozen folks to have dinner with him at the restaurant in his hotel.
More than forty people showed up and we nearly took over the restaurant.
Now, Palermo gets hundreds of people to show up at his pre-con shindigs, the last one being the MVP Summit Edition. He gets special t-shirts printed, sponsors, prizes, and give-aways.
This year's TechEd PwP will be at the Glo Lounge in Orlando.
